Hello Fort Bend County! Its springtime again! It’s a time for friends and family to gather and get outside to enjoy the fresh breeze and the smell of newly budded flowers. It’s also a time for planting. As we’re all thawing out in the new spring weather lets be mindful of our neighbors, friends, and farmers while we’re on the road.

Spring is a big time for an integral part of our community, our farmers! Right now, they are planting and maintaining this year’s crops, as well as, moving around livestock. Please remember that this is a crucial time for production. As this county is becoming more developed it can be easy to forget that we need to share the road with our community’s farmers.  While we can all understand the frustration of traffic or a slow-moving vehicle, especially during our commutes, let us be neighborly and mindful of the people who help in supplying our community with food and fiber.

Driving impatiently is not only dangerous for our famers but for you as well. Help to keep us all safe by being cautious and compassionate to the members of our community while on the road.
