Hello Fort Bend County!
Agriculture is an integral part of our community as well as our farmers! Throughout the year, they are planting and maintaining their crops, as well as, moving around livestock. As this county is becoming more developed it can be easy to forget that we need to share the road with our community’s farmers. While we can all understand the frustration of traffic or a slow-moving vehicle, especially during our commutes, let us be neighborly and mindful of the people who help in supplying our community with food and fiber.
Driving impatiently is not only dangerous for our famers but for you as well. Pass only when clear and at a normal speed. Watch for equipment turning. The equipment will make slow turns and needs your patience. Help to keep us all safe by being cautious and compassionate to the members of our community while on the road.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping everyone safe!
