Whether you own a few head on a few acres or far more than a few on many acres, planning for and providing the basic needs – food, water and shelter, will help keep cattle healthy over the winter months and beyond. We invite you to join us for an online program, Winterizing the Cattle Herd, on November 18, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Livestock Specialist, Dr. Joe Paschal. This program will outline recommended management practices for keeping your cattle herd healthy during the winter. Our weather can be cold, wet and windy, and often all at the same time. These three elements can cause great stress on cattle; this in turn opens the door to compromising their health.
