Appraisal Workshop

Are you a Fort Bend County landowner who is interested in agricultural appraisals and wildlife tax valuation for your property?  Do you have questions about qualifications and restrictions? Do you already have an agricultural appraisal on your property, but want information on how to change the usage?  Join us for a two part online series via Microsoft Teams. You may attend one or both.  These presentations are free to attend, but you must register. Join us online on October 20, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with Fort Bend County Central Appraisal District, RPA Director of Land Appraisal, Ben Kruse.  He will provide a general overview of an agricultural appraisal with guidelines on qualifying land use. He will also cover the application process as well as provide examples.  You may attend this workshop if you have property in Fort Bend County.  Each Texas County has their own guidelines and restrictions.

Join us online on November 5, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Wildlife Biologist, Clint Faas. He will provide a general overview of the wildlife tax valuation, wildlife management plan development, and applicable management practices. He will also go over how to fill out, submit the wildlife management plan, and provide examples of management plans. You may attend this workshop regardless of the county you live in or where your property is located.
